SHELTER NEWS

Little Nevada....or is it Maine???....they are twins!

Little Nevada….or is it Maine???….they are twins!

The shelter took in fourteen cats and kittens in January and February, including Mama Montana and her five adorable nursing kittens: Dakota, Jersey, Maine, Nevada and Texas. They should all be ready for adoption in April. We had 21 adoptions in the same time period……for which we are so thankful as we had so few the months before. And five of those flew to homes in California, Michigan, Kansas, Ontario & New Brunswick!!

FEATURED FELINE:  FRANKIE

¡Necesito salir de este Centro

I need to get out of this “Senior” Center!  I’m not THAT old!

With soft white & tan fur and beautiful blue eyes (like his namesake Sinatra), Frankie is a real lover (like his namesake!). He’s a mellow fellow and was being bullied by some of the other males in the yard. Dra. Eva decided he would live in the Senior Center with Simona and some of the older females. He gets along fine with the ladies, but would rather have a furr-ever home with his own two-legged person to love. If you are interested in adopting Frankie or any of our deserving older felines, contact Linda at adopt@purrproject.com for information.

Eva a great shaving kit to use for spay/neuter! Monzon Brewing Co. donated $1,059 pesos from their “Drops in a Bucket” campaign! And we could not survive without regular donations from Gary Phillips, Richard Robertson, Sharon & Ken Rose, Heather Sullivan, Larry Sherwood and Kristen Wilmsen!
