FEATURED FELINE: ERNIE

Ernie the one eyed kitty being held by a volunteerWe found Ernie wandering around the shelter looking very confused in late August, thought to be about 6 weeks old. One eye could not be saved, leaving him with one big beautiful hazel eye! He is now safe in our nursery, loves visitors and would be very happy in a loving Forever Home. For more information on Ernie or how to adopt, contact Linda at adopt@purrproject.com

THE PURR NURSERY

Ultra, a black kitty, being held by their new owners

Ultra adopted at PetCo!

We took in 14 cats and kittens in January and had 9 Adoptions: 5 at Petco, 3 at the shelter and one through a foster. Of the 13 newborn kittens that were abandoned at the shelter in December, 12 have survived thanks to our volunteer fosters and will soon be ready for adoption!! Right now we have over 50 kittens either at the shelter or with fosters and who need homes. We are at the PetCo Adoption Center every weekend with a variety of PuRR kitties that are vaccinated and sterilized and ready to meet YOU!

DONATING

A cart full of Supplies for the cats

Weekly COSTCO supplies!

Keeping the PuRR shelter running is an expensive operation and depends solely on individual donations plus our fundraising events. We spend around $40,000 pesos a month just on food, litter, medicine & cleaning supplies. Plus pay the staff, vets, electricity and general maintenance. If you would like to make a contribution, visit our website at https://purrproject.com/donate/.

And remember, we are a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit with Tax exempt receipts for US Dollar donations.
