ADOPTION UPDATE

Rio ready to board her flight!

Rio ready to board her flight!

The PuRR shelter took in 11 new kittens and one mother in January. We had 6 adoptions at the new PetCo location plus 2 at Daiquiri Dick’s and one through FaceBook. But we still have plenty of adorable kittens in the Nursery who need homes! You can find us at PetCo Friday through Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to closing, and at Daiquiri Dick’s on Saturday mornings.

Petra was the lucky kitty with us at Daiquiri Dick’s when Debbie Morgan and Jeff Heisholt stopped by to say Hello and fell in love. A pet-in-cabin reservation was quickly made with West Jet and four days later she was on her way with them to Toronto, with a new name, “Rio”, and a heated bed waiting for her!! She will join their two other rescue kitties.

FEATURED FELINES: RHETT & SAVANNAH

Rhett and sister Savannah

Rhett and sister Savannah

This brother and sister were only three weeks old when they were left at the shelter gate early one morning in October. Since Savannah was born with only one eye and both needed special nutrition, they quickly went into a foster home where they could receive individual attention. They are now back in the PuRR nursery and are ready for their Forever Homes……hopefully together as they are so bonded! If you are interested adopting this pair or any of our sweet kittens, contact Linda at adopt@purrproject.com.
